TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF...
Camila: My name is Camila Chiappetta and I'm originally from Sao Paulo in Brazil. I started playing multiple sports (volleyball, football, handball) at a very young age. After I graduated in Physical Education, I moved to New Zealand and started to coach functional movements then I started training in CrossFit in 2016. At the moment I base myself in Shenzhen and I am a CrossFit Trainer at Attitude CrossFit.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
Camila: I consider myself to have a fun personality and always love to share a joke even when I have to be awake at 5am for our early training sessions at 6am. It's a long day but we have fun 24-7.
WHAT'S THE BEST JOB YOU'VE EVER HAD? / AND THE WORST?
Camila: The best job for me is what I am currently doing - being a CrossFit trainer at Attitude Gym. It combines all the things I love! The worst job experience was working as a dishwasher in Auckland, NZ. That was back breaking work compared to CrossFit!
YOUR FAVOURITE DRINK?
Camila: Irish Whiskey and fresh orange juice, no ice, or a great classic Mojito on the beach!
LET'S TALK ABOUT FITNESS. HOW'D YOU GET INTO IT?
Camila: Always been into fitness. Brazilians are super fit and we like to have great beach body and balanced mind. I have been into sports since a young age, after I graduated from university I started to coach in a local sport centre.
WHAT IS YOUR TIP FOR PUSHING YOURSELF ON DAYS WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE TRAINING?
Camila: I always try to have someone as a workout partner to push me, but actually I don't really get those days unless I'm sick. CrossFit is a great team workout and suitable for all abilities.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE QUOTE?
Camila: 'If you have nothing to be grateful for, check your pulse!' (You must already be dead!).
MOST EMBARRASSING TRAINING EXPERIENCE?
Camila: My friend and I got invited to try a cool new yoga studio and we spent 1 hour jumping around and doing the craziest movements ever!! We kept laughing through the quiet meditation time. I think our personalities are more suited towards the CrossFit Gym with our loud workout music and heavy lifting.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE SOMEONE FOR STARTING OUT FITNESS FOR THE FIRST TIME?
Camila: Listen to your body, believe in yourself and don't give up. Believe me you will get used to it.
WHAT IS THE PARTICULAR PART OF THE BODY THAT YOU ARE MOST PROUD OF?
Camila: My legs =) CrossFit is great for your core too!
WHAT IS YOUR CRAZIEST CHINA EXPERIENCE?
Camila: China is always fun and meeting interesting people and places...I remember recently I went to a coffee shop and they gave me coffee with salt?! They asked me 'do you want sugar?' and I said no...but I wasn't expecting the coffee coming with salt lol. Who drinks coffee with salt when you say you don't want sugar?! Haha I'm sweet enough! ;-)

Camila: HASH is an awesome label with an amazing Squad and with some super cool Ath-Leisure style! I'm extra thankful to HASH for choosing our community to connect with. We are all looking forward to their new designs coming soon.
